Jagermeister 'creme eggs' now exist

JAGERMEISTER has created a cracking combo this Easter – a boozy chocolate “creme egg” filled with cream infused by its liqueur – but you’ll need ID to buy them.
The tipple, which is made from 56 different herbs, is normally paired with Red Bull to make a Jagerbomb.

Three years ago the German drinks maker teased fans with an April Fool’s joke about a Jagermeister egg – but now they are being created for real.
The Jagermeister team says the eggs taste like they’ve been filled with chocolate milk and a subtle tasting liqueur but we’re yet to try them at The Sun.
At 38g the eggs are slightly smaller than a Cadbury creme egg, which weighs in at 40g.
A set of two eggs with two Jagermeister shot glasses and a 10cl bottle of Jagermeister cost £9.99 and they’ll be available from 10am today (Thursday March 28) on the  Jagermeister website.
But you’ll have to be quick as there’s only 250 sets available.
The sets include two Jager eggs, two shot glasses and a 10cl bottle of Jagermeister – but there are only 250 available
Obviously, they cost a lot more than a Cadbury creme egg, which cost 50p each.
As the eggs contain 3 per cent alcohol, you’ll also need proof of age to buy them.
Jagermeister says it will accept a UK driving licence or passport and you’ll have to upload a picture of this during the transaction via a third party called Yoti.
Sadly, Jagermeister couldn’t tell us how many calories are in each egg but an adult male should have around 2,500 a day while a woman should have around 2,000, according to NHS guidelines.
A 40g Cadbury Creme Egg contains 177 calories.
This is what the Jagermeister egg looked like when it was posted as an April Fool’s Day joke
Tim Hawley, innovation controller at Jagermeister UK, said: “The last three years we’ve been inundated with customers demanding the #JagerEgg, we’ve had everything from desperate direct messages to pleading phone calls.
“It’s personally kept me up at night thinking about all those people tossing and turning, dreaming of the #JagerEgg that never was – so this is for them.”

Wetherspoon banned Jagerbombs last year as its Brexiteer boss axed European booze from his pubs.
The pub chain swapped the popular tipple for a drink called Strika.
Meanwhile Prince William last year revealed that his hip flask was spiked with Jagerbomb at Submariners’ Remembrance reception.
