IF you’re planning to fire-up the BBQ this weekend you may want to head down to Iceland as it’s selling a 24-piece BBQ platter for just £5.
The frozen BBQ Selection Pack contains a whopping 1.8kg of meat – enough to feed eight people for 63p a head.

In the set, you get eight chicken drumsticks, eight beef burgers, and eight pork sausages.
The frozen food retailer is also selling a 1.8kg BBQ Chicken Selection Pack that includes frozen Chinese chicken drumsticks, BBQ chicken wings and hot and spicy chicken thighs.
And it has a 1.5kg pack of frozen salt and chilli ribs and wings for £5 – although Iceland couldn’t tell how many of each variety you get in these two packs.
Iceland is the only one of the major supermarkets we could see selling burgers, sausages, and chicken drumsticks as part of one selection pack, as well as wings, thighs, and drumsticks all in one.

Just make sure you properly defrost the meat before sticking it on the barbie.
And if you’re planning on buying your meat separately, use MySupermarket to compare prices at all of the major supermarkets before you buy.
