TWIX fans, rejoice, because a new flavour is available at Home Bargains.
The discount retailer is selling new GINGER cookie Twix Xtra bars, and better yet, you can pick four up for £1.
Mars Twix Xtra Ginger Cookie bars are now on sale at Home Bargains
That works out at just 25p per pack, as it’s one of the latest “starbuys” offers at Home Bargains.
You can also single packs for 29p each, but you’ll save 16p if you buy four at once.
The new flavour is only available in the Twix Xtra range for now, which is the extra-large version of a Twix bar.
A regular Twix bar is 50g for two fingers, while a Twix Xtra is 75g.
Shoppers had mixed views on the new flavour
It’s the first time the new flavour has been available at a high street store in the UK.
They’re on sale now because they bars been imported from parts of Europe, where the flavour is available to buy.
Sadly, Mars – which makes Twix – says there are currently no plans to officially launch the flavour in the UK.
So if you want to try it, you should head to Home Bargains.
The discount means you can pick up the new flavour cheaper than a normal Twix.
A single Twix costs 60p at Waitrose, but many supermarkets have offers on so you can pick up three for £1.
Some people are excited to try the new flavour
That means you can get one more of the extra-large bars for the same price at Home Bargains.
We’ve asked Home Bargains for the calorie count, but they probably contain a similar amount to a normal Twix Xtra treat, which contains 372 calories for both fingers.
An adult man should eat around 2,500 calories a day, while a woman should consume 2,000, according to the NHS.
Starbuys are limited offers at Home Bargains, so you’ll have to be quick if you want to try one.
We’ve asked Home Bargains how long the new treats will be on sale for, and how long the offer is on for.
The new bars were first spotted on sale by a bargain hunter on money-saving community, LatestDeals.co.uk.
And Twix fans are excited about the new flavour.
One excited member commented: “JUST HAD FULL BOX MYSELF SO LOVELY THEY ARE VERY NICE!”
A second added: “These look interesting…think I’ll need to give these a try at some point.”
Another wrote: “Sounds good to me. Bite each end off; put one end in hot coffee; suck like a good‘un then…EAT!”
But others weren’t so sure, posting “vomit” emojis on Facebook.
