Gemma Collins ‘lined up for Celebrity X Factor’ after creating TV gold on Dancing On Ice



GEMMA Collins is reportedly being lined up for Celebrity X Factor.
The former Towie star brought in millions of extra viewers for Dancing on Ice with her diva antics and TV chiefs think she could do the same for the X Factor.

A source for the show told the Daily Star: “We want big and exciting stars and The GC is popular and we reckon she makes entertaining viewing.
“More important, she can sing.
“Simon has handled many divas over the years with the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Mel B, so we reckon he will be able to deal with this Essex one.”
Last year Gemma showed off her surprise singing talents on the BBC’s All Together Now.

Geri Horner told her: “You were amazing.”
Gemma said on the show: “I wanted to have fun and leave people with a smile on their faces.”
This year’s Dancing on Ice lost almost three million viewers when Gemma was eliminated from the competition, so her inclusion in the celebrity version of the X Factor could see ratings surge.

There will be two series of the X Factor this year – a celebrity version and a separate all stars version where previous success stories return to compete against each other.
