Gemma Collins has some words of wisdom for this year’s Love Islanders (Picture: Rex)Gemma Collins knows a thing or two about the highs and lows that come with being a reality star.
And offering her words of wisdom to this year’s Love Island cast, the GC is urging them to ‘keep it real’ when they leave the villa.
She decided to share a few pearls of advice after seeing the girls impersonate her onscreen. Amy hilariously compared herself to Gemma after throwing on some slick shades and admiring her fresh locks.
She said: ‘So funny, this morning when my hair was all nice and fresh I put these [sunglasses] on and I was like, “Oh my god, I actually look like The GC.”‘
Of course, Gem loved it and shared the scene to her Instagram page and sent her well wishes to the girls in the villa.

‘Stay away from the hangers on I’ve been there seen it and got the [t-shirt],’ Gemma warned. ‘Family and loved ones. GC gives her advice on fame.’
GC knows best, right?
Love Island kicked off earlier this week and already there’s been plenty of drama.
Lucie was forced to pick between Tommy and Joe in Love Island’s first love triangle of the series (Picture: ITV)Our first Love Island triangle emerged with Lucie being forced to pick between Tommy and Joe.
Anton tried to swoop in and steal Sherif’s gal Anna and just when we thought we had our first love story on our hands, new girl Mollie-Mae rocked up and set her sights on Curtis, who had been pretty smitten with Amy.
Oh, and of course there was the first re-coupling too. Unfortunately for Callum, he was given the boot after Amber decided to ditch him for Anton instead.
The 28-year-old had given up his high-flying job as an aircraft engineer to be on the show.
Speaking to The Sun, Callum said: ‘I had to hand my notice in. I’ve got my trade and my apprenticeship so I would apply elsewhere.
‘It was a really hard decision but you only get one life.’
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
