UK outlook for Friday February 22 to Thursday March 7
A VERY mild, dry day with hazy sunshine after a cloudy, foggy start. Cloudier and breezier in the far west with a little rain.
Dry and mild conditions with spells of sunshine continue into Saturday and through to Monday. Patchy fog is likely across England and Wales as the far northwest is Windier and changeable.
Tuesday and Wednesday look fine and mild with some sunshine, although cloudier with rain and strong winds at times in northwest Scotland. Any early mist and fog in England and Wales will mostly clear through the morning.
The largely dry, sunny and mild conditions are set to continue until the end of February, although rain and strong winds will affect the northwest at times. Temperatures may gradually become closer to normal.
Any spells of rain will tend to weaken as they move southeast, just bringing cloudier skies. Overnight frosts are possible with mist and fog patches too.
