ENGLAND plunged to a 26-run defeat in the second one-dayer after appearing certain to claim another victory.
But they collapsed alarmingly in the dying overs and now the series is level at 1-1.

Left-arm paceman Sheldon Cottrell, who didn’t play in the first game, took five wickets and secured England’s fate.
Cottrell celebrates each wicket by standing to attention and offered a military-style salute. The crowd loves it but one suspects the departing batsman find it distinctly annoying.
England appeared to be cruising to their second comfortable win in three days while Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler were putting on 69 for the fifth wicket. They needed 62 from more than ten overs with six wickets in hand.
But then Windies skipper Jason Holder took three wickets in five balls.

Stokes was caught behind for 79 and reviewed even though there was a healthy edge.
Holder then deceived Buttler with a slower ball that the batsman lobbed into the hands of extra cover. Next, Tom Curran was lbw for nought – it was a shocking decision but England had no reviews left because of Stokes’ error.
Holder had taken three wickets in five balls.
Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid were unable to halt the decline and Cottrell returned to remove them both.
After chasing 360 on Wednesday, England fancied their chances but Cottrell struck twice in his initial spell when Jonny Bairstow was lbw for a golden duck and Jason Roy dragged on.

When Test captain Joe Root was caught behind off Oshane Thomas, England were in big trouble at 60-3.
Eoin Morgan made 70 and Stokes and Buttler looked in control – until the late drama and England’s late decline.
Shimron Hetmyer scored a dazzling century for West Indies and showed why he is one of the world’s most promising batsmen.
Hetmyer plundered 104 not out from 83 balls as the Windies posted 289-6 in their 50 overs.
He became the second left-hander in three days to reach three figures against England’s white ball team.
But, while Chris Gayle is a young-at-heart veteran of 39, Hetmyer is aged just 22 and has almost his whole career ahead of him.

Mark Wood was the pick of England’s bowlers and returned figures of 1-38 from his ten overs.
The Durham pacemen generated decent pace – often taking the speed gun above 90mph – in his quest to show his blitz in the Third Test was no fluke.
Wood is desperate to fight off the challenge of Sussex’s Jofra Archer, who was born in Barbados but qualifies for England next month.
AP:Associated Press Ben Stokes played a superb knock as he top-scored for England with 79 but his dismissal sparked a collapse
England captain Joe Root responds to sledging from Windies bowler Shannon Gabriel saying, ‘Don’t use it as an insult. There’s nothing wrong with being gay.’
Many believe Archer should be included in England’s World Cup squad and Wood would be most at risk.
Archer is currently out of action with a back muscle injury.
Chris Woakes was rested because he continues to suffer from a twinge in his right knee.
Woakes is key to England’s World Cup hopes and his inability to shake off the niggle is a concern although the management insist his absence was precautionary.
