EastEnders fans spot weird sound blunder as Jean Slater climbs the O2

EASTENDERS fans spotted a weird sound blunder while Jean Slater was climbing the O2 in last night’s episode.
Cancer-stricken Jean was facing her fear of heights before going for chemotherapy.
Jean Slater’s voice had to be dubbed on after filming because of high winds
But filming issues meant the actress had to dub her voice onto the scene because of the wind.
One viewer said: “They must have been gutted when they realised the sound was f***ed for Jean’s climb. Terrible dubbing as usual.”
Another added: “Catching up on #EastEnders what’s with the sound? So obviously dubbed when Jean is on the top of the O2.”
Someone else asked: “@bbceastenders Can you shred any light into this question. I’m baffled at how Jean sounded completely different on the roof?”
The blunder ruined viewers’ experience last night
But many praised Gillian Wright’s acting
A fan said: “SHOCKIN audio dubbing on Jean on top of the millennium dome #Eastenders”
Another added: “Jean’s dubbing on the dome is as hairy as the heights.”
Other viewers praised the performance by Gillian Wright.
Jean’s friend Shirley Carter was supposed to join her on the climb, but instead waited at the bottom of the O2 for her after panicking mid-climb.
Jean is facing chemotherapy
Jean said: “We’re all scared of something. I have to do the chemo tomorrow but you don’t have to climb this with me.”
Also in last night’s episode, fans were horrified when Ben Mitchell almost kicked his daughter Lexi.
The little girl whined that he wasn’t looking, prompting him to grit his teeth and lash out.
He raged: “I’m not in the mood, Lola. Can you take her to Billy’s or something?”
