Demi Lovato was all of us fan-girling at Christina Aguilera’s opening night in Vegas (Picture: Instagram)Demi Lovato was literally all of us on Saturday night as she fan-girled hard over Christina Aguilera kicking off her Las Vegas residency.
Christina announced her show, The Xperience, in Sin City back in January and it seems like we weren’t the only ones who were all like **books tickets immediately**.
Demi made sure she was sat up close and personal to see Christina in action as she took to the stage at the Planet Hollywood hotel.
Luckily for us (as our bank accounts sadly couldn’t cover the 11-hour flight) Demi documented the entire thing on her Instagram story and we’re so here for it.

Christina powered through her hits including Dirrty, Lady Marmalade and Genie In A Bottle (Picture: Instagram)The Sorry Not Sorry singer was seen fan-girling hard as Christina showed off those impressive vocals. Demi was joined by two of her pals and sang, danced and cheered her way through the impressive 27-song set list.
We had fan favourites like Dirrty and Lady Marmalade and then of course, there were all the nostalgic feels with Genie In A Bottle, Reflection and Can’t Hold Us Down.
Tune after tune, right?

Demi was loving every second with her pals (Picture: Instagram)Demi really went through a roller-coaster of emotions throughout the show, oozing girl power for Christina’s female-strong anthems, breaking down in tears with those real tear-jerkers like Beautiful and declaring she was ‘depressed’ when it was all over.
Basically, she was every Xtina fan out there and we love her for it.
Unlike us, though, Demi got to cuddle up to Christina following the show.
The Sorry Not Sorry singer joked she was ‘depressed’ when it was all over (Picture: Instagram)She shared selfies with the queen herself and wrote: ‘A PERFECT, perfect show.. couldn’t believe it was opening night because it was so smooth, flawless and sounded incredible.
‘I was entertained the entire time and was so bummed when it was over until I was reunited with this beauty. I’m so so happy I got to hug you @xtina, haven’t seen you in concert since I was 14 and I can’t believe how much life has changed since then.’
‘Honoured to call you a friend, keep it up queen. Oh and EVERYONE should go see #TheXperience.’
Demi caught up with Christina after the showDemi and Christina are good pals and even teamed up on track Fall In Line, released last year.
While Christina has packed out her schedule with her Vegas show and her first UK tour in 13 years, Demi has been taking a break from the spotlight to focus on herself.
The former Disney star was hospitalised in July 2018 following an overdose at her home and left treatment in November.
Demi marked reaching six-months sober with a rose tattoo on her finger in January and has since been real honest about her sobriety with her fans on social media.
She is currently preparing for her musical comeback and signed with new manager Scooter Braun, earlier this month.
‘Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter,’ Demi said of her new signing.
‘Thank you for believing in me and for being a part of this new journey,’
