Jason maintained a dignified level of support for Gemma following the fall on Sunday night’s show, which saw her face plant the ice after a week of gruelling rehearsals to prove him wrong.
However, following the show airing, Jason’s been liking a number of tweets that share feelings of Gemma in a negative light, and encouraging him for his harsh critiques the week before.
In one, a disgruntled viewer said that Gemma wasn’t worthy of her role on the show and declared: ‘Keep going on as you are, the likes of Gemma Collins makes me sick. She shouldn’t be in the show. Vile. You’re a brilliant judge and know what you’re talking about.[sic]’

Gemma has been bound to a wheelchair for the past day after her brutal accident live on-air that saw her tumble and faceplant the ice.
Friends and family, including boyfriend James Argent, have spoken out in support of the star, with Arg even comparing her to Tyson Fury for continuing the performance after the slip.

Giving her the lowest score of the night – but her highest score of the series so far – Jason led the judges in motivating her to keep going.
After giving Gemma’s performance a four, Gardiner said: ‘Gemma, I really like your mum because she gives you sound advice. When you drop the GC and you come in and you apply yourself, you have improved. There was an improvement here.
‘My only concern is, is there enough of an improvement? And can you continue to improve to catch up to some of the celebrities that are well ahead of you?’

‘Unfortunate for the trip, but a great, let’s move forward from here.’
Over the past day, Gemma has been put on bed rest to recuperate from the fall.
She has since been seen being looked after by boyfriend Arg as he pushed her around in the wheelchair.

Gemma has also thanked fans for their support as she admits she was ‘devastated and embarrassed’ by the error.
She wrote: ‘Absolutely devastated & embarrassed, My heart is broken but when I went down I thought of @Tyson_Fury & knew I had to get back up & carry on!
‘Can’t thank you enough for your support on social media & picking up the phone to vote! Im in a lot of pain but bring on fantasy week!’
Dancing On Ice continues Sunday from 6pm on ITV1.
