Harry, whose wife Meghan is expecting their first child in late April, spoke to volunteers and youth leaders at the John Corfield Centre who run activities for kids aged seven to 16.
The 34-year-old then took to the kitchen to help staff serve a hot, nutritious lunch of pasta and salad.
It was a rare lone appearance for Harry, who is more often than not inseparable from Meghan since they married last May.
The seven months pregnant Duchess is currently making a surprise trip to New York for a baby shower before heading back to London.
Megha, 37, will be flying back to London shortly before joining Harry on a trip to Morocco later this week.
The trip will see them highlight some of their key causes – girls’ education and empowerment for young people.
But today it was time for Harry to strike out on his own – and he seemed to be relishing his time with the Streatham Youth and Community Trust.

Launched in 2016, the Fit and Fed programme is led by one of Harry’s charities, StreetGames, which aims to tackle holiday hunger, inactivity and isolation.
Nearly three-quarters of the poorest families are unable to always afford to feed their children during the holidays in the UK.
In previous years the Duke has visited sessions in East and North London.
