CORONATION Street’s Lucy Fallon is jetting off on holiday as the soap finds itself in crisis after seven key stars quit.
The actress, who plays Bethany Platt, revealed she needed a break and some cocktails just hours after we revealed she is leaving the cobbles.
Lucy Fallon told fans she is going away this weekend for a much needed break
Sharing a picture of herself in her bikini, she wrote: “Off on holiday on Saturday with some of my fave kidz. SUN N DAIQUIRIS is what I need right now #letsgochamp x.”
It comes as sources told The Sun Sources on set say several more big names are poised to quit, fed up with the gruelling hours, poor pay deals and the toxic atmosphere on set.
A gulf has emerged among sections of the cast due to vast differences in salaries, and morale is at an all-time low.
The mass exodus of high-profile stars includes Kym Marsh as Michelle Connor, Faye Brookes (Kate Connor), Tristan Gemmill (Robert Preston) and Katie McGlynn (Sinead Tinker).

Lucy will be leaving the cobbles once her contract expires in 2020 to pursue other acting roles.
Confirming her decision, she said: “After the most incredible 4 years, I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave Coronation Street at the end of my contract in 2020. It’s hard to put into words how much this show means to me.
“I’ve made lifelong friends with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry, I’ve had some terrific and immensely important storylines and I’ve laughed with the best people everyday.
“I’m so thankful to Iain and everyone at Coronation Street, I owe everything to them and I will miss them greatly.”
