Coronation Street stars reading off scripts HIDDEN on microwaves, bread bins and carrier bags to stop wobbles on set

CORONATION Street stars have been reading off scripts HIDDEN on microwaves, bread bins and carrier bags to stop wobbles on set.
Corrie’s favourite actors – including Jack P Shepherd and Tina O’Brien who play David and Sarah Platt – have been stashing scripts in cookers and bread bins to make sure they don’t fluff their lines.

A source told The Mirror’s Janine Yaqoob’s column: “The crew find scripts all over the place. The stars don’t have long to learn lines and their aren’t endless retakes if people dry up. ”
They added that the crew liked to film scenes in just a couple of takes because of the intense schedule of having six episodes a week.
The source said: “So having a few lines hidden in a household appliance or a carrier bag on set is the perfect solution.”

Meanwhile Corrie fans think they’ve figured out who dies in the Underworld factory explosion after the Cobbles’ new super villain strikes.
Viewers have been scrutinising photos released from set showing the aftermath of the disaster.
Photos shared on Saturday reveal sombre Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) with his family and fans think they’ve deduced who survives the blast.
One viewer said: “YOUVE JUST RUINED THAT BETH KIRK & SINEAD SURVIVES THE FACTORY COLLAPSE AHHH”

Another added: “So judging by all Saturday previews the factory deaths will not be “Carla, Nick, Gary, Izzy, Beth and Kirk”.”
The residents of Coronation Street will be left devastated by the fatal explosion at the Underworld knicker factory this month.
Photos from set reveal bunches of flowers laid outside the premises, pointing to there being a mystery death on the Cobbles.
Who has died and how the factory came to ruins is unclear however the building is seen in tatters, with the roof partially blown off and debris around the edges.
Corrie bosses are building up the factory collapse to be the soap event of the year and want to keep fans guessing who is responsible.
However, in upcoming scenes, the finger is firmly pointed at two long-running cobbles characters — Nick Tilsley and Gary Windass.
