HELEN Flanagan is set to return as Rosie Webster after Coronation bosses begged for her to return after her maternity leave.
The Sun on Sunday reported that ITV chiefs have held a series of crisis meetings to make a plan about the future following mass departures from the cast.

Last week, Lucy Fallon became the seventh star to leave in just three months.
Producers hope bringing back legendary cast members – including Curly Watts -will help boost ratings.
A TV source told the paper: “Things are pretty bleak behind the scenes.
“Bosses want to bring joy back, on and off screen. The plan is to bring back one or two high-profile stalwarts who are a hit with older viewers.

“They’re keen for Helen to sign after maternity leave. But producers will not budge on the gruelling schedule, and will continue the shock ‘modern’ storylines, even if they risk alienating older viewers.”
Helen Flanagan took another break from the soap to have her second baby with fiance and footballer Scott Sinclair.
She last quit Corrie in 2012 in pursuit of other projects.
On June 22 she gave birth to daughter Delilah. The couple – who have been together since 2009 – already have Matilda Jessica who in almost four years old.

Helen has previously said that she would like to return to Corrie as ditsy Rosie after taking her maternity leave.
She told The Mirror: “With Scott’s job we’re settled in Glasgow at the moment but I’d love to go back to Coronation Street.
“It’s just a matter of when and how I work it. We all share parenting tips in the green room at Corrie. It’s such a family atmosphere.”
Helen has played the role of Rosie Webster since 2000 – taking over the part from Emma Collinge who played the character from 1990-1999.
