The Spanish goalkeeper refused to leave the field when his manager, Maurizio Sarri, tried to sub him off towards the end of the Wembley clash with Manchester City.

After the contest, as the Chelsea side made their way out of Wembley, one fan was seen to shake the hands of every player, except the goalkeeper.
In the video, taken by Times journalist Henry Winter, the likes of Willian and Eden Hazard made a point of greeting the fan, before he withdrew his hand from the Spaniard.
The supporter then went back to acknowledging N’Golo Kante, David Luiz and the man Kepa refused to let replace him, Willy Caballero.

Kepa stated: ‘At no time has it been my intention to disobey the coach or any of his decisions. I have full respect for the coach and his authority.’
Sarri appeared to understand what his ‘keeper was saying, but implied that the matter is not over, saying; ‘I will speak to him. As I said before, he was right for his motivation. But not for the conduct’
