Kepa’s refusal to leave the pitch and make way for Willy Caballero ahead of the penalty shootout sparked anger from Sarri and his assistant Gianfranco Zola.
Kepa has since been fined a week’s wages but the Spaniard will reportedly keep his place for Tottenham’s visit to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
The £71 million goalkeeper also apologised during a team meeting on Monday.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the bust-up between Kepa and Sarri has split opinion in the dressing room, with Caballero upset by the Spaniard’s actions in the final stages of the extra time at Wembley.

A source at Chelsea told the Daily Telegraph: ‘Some players thought Kepa was wrong, some thought Sarri over-reacted and others were just annoyed with the entire situation.
‘Now it’s a question of whether there is any lasting anger or whether everybody can calm down in time for the Tottenham game.
‘The squad needs to come together because there have been too many players protecting themselves when things have gone wrong this season.’
