CAROLINE Flack insists she ‘regrets nothing’ as she opens up about the pain of her broken engagement with Andrew Brady.
The Love Island host had an on-off relationship with The Apprentice star last year, which saw them get engaged in April and split for good before Christmas.

Caroline, 39, has had time to reflect on the romance, and in an open letter in You Magazine, admits she.
She wrote: “I absolutely loved being engaged [to Andrew] but things didn’t pan out and that caused me pain; of course it did.
“I’m a person not a caricature. It was a sad time when I broke off my engagement and I was hurting.”
The split hasn’t stopped Caroline from believing in true love, but she has realised she needs to keep things a little more private next time around.

She continued: “Just because something comes to an end doesn’t mean it was a failure – everything has its time.”
She added how she wants to remember “the good stuff” from their time together and “be glad” it happened.
She wrote: “Heartbreak hasn’t left me disillusioned or afraid to open my heart again.
“I’m still an optimist when it comes to love; I always see the very best in people and situations.

“I absolutely believe in love and there’s no better feeling than when you’re falling for someone.”
But when she does find Mr Right, she won’t be broadcasting it all over social media like she did with Andrew, 28.
She explained: “I was so in love [with Andrew] and it all felt so blissful that I wanted the world to know.

“I wore my heart on my sleeve; I overshared and posted loads of pictures on Instagram.
“That’s a lesson I won’t forget; I must always keep something back.”
As for what she would tell her younger self about dating, she said she had no advice, adding: “looking back, I regret absolutely nothing.”
