BRITAIN is enjoying glorious 19C BBQ weather today as sunshine makes the UK warmer than GREECE this weekend.
The Met Office previously said the weekend’s heatwave could come near the record for the warmest February day of all time.

The current record was set in 1998 when 19.7C was clocked in Greenwich, east London.
But forecasters believe the current spring-like spell of sun could carry on setting records after Scotland’s warmest ever day was recorded on Thursday, with a high of 18.3C in Aberdeenshire.
Now the Met Office forecasts a sunny, warm weekend with temperatures staying around the 16-17C mark climbing to the “high teens” by mid-week.
And it will be hotter than Greece this weekend, where rain and snow are currently falling and a high of just 7C is expected in Athens today.
The current balmy weather is being caused by tropical air blown 4,000 miles over to Britain from the Caribbean.
And Monday is due to beat the 16.6C February 25 record, with official records stretching back to 1841.
Although more sun is on the way, some southern areas awoke to a yellow weather warning for fog this morning.
The thick low-hanging cloud shrouded the capital causing flight disruption at multiple London airports.
But as the fog lifted, a bright day has pushed in after — and the sun is set to continue on Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the mid-to-high teens tomorrow for most places in the UK.
