And, after the 37-year-old’s mum, Lynne, has filed a request with the courts, asking for special notice in her daughter’s conservatorship with dad Jamie, explaining she wants to be informed of all matters regarding to her daughter’s welfare.
While the former couple – who are also parents to Jamie-Lynne Spears – have been separated for years, they have always been ‘on the same page’ in regards to the Baby One More Time singer’s health.
Insiders told The Blast Lynne ‘spoke to Jamie before filing the documents’, and is doing so to take a ‘more proactive approach’.
Sources claimed she doesn’t want to be ‘left out’ of matters any more, and used her own attorney to file the paperwork.
While TMZ states the 63-year-old is said to be ‘respectful’ of Britney’s desire for more control – but still wary of what could occur with greater freedom.
Jamie has managed Britney’s conservatorship for the last 11 years.

She reportedly signed up for a 30-day treatment, following reports she was struggling to cope with her father’s life-threatening illness.
And in the statement, she thanked fans for being so dedicated to her, while also begging for privacy.
‘I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said,’ she began.
‘I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear.
‘My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment. You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way.
‘If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you.’
