Britain's Got Talent fans convinced magician 'X' is spin-off host Stephen Mulhern

BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans believe the mysterious ‘X’ who wowed the audience with amazing magic on Ant and Dec is the show’s spin-off host Stephen Mulhern.
And the theory isn’t as far-fetched as you might think – as the 42-year-old star is a trained magician who has been performing mind-boggling illusions for years.
Viewers were dazzled as ‘X’ performed a jaw-dropping trick on Ant and Dec
ITV Some fans are convinced the illusionist is Britain’s Got More Talent’s Stephen
Several fans all came to the same conclusion, with one insisting: “Its Stephen Mulhern, he likes a bit of magic 😁.”
Another suggested: “I reckon this is Stephen mulhern, he is a magician after all.”
A third asked: “Is Stephen Mulhern BGT’s mystery magician?”
The Britain’s Got More Talent host created a act called Stephen’s Mega Mad Magic Show straight out of school – becoming the youngest ever member of the Magic Circle.

He later won Jonathan Ross’s Big Big Talent Show and did magic in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Show in 1997, aged just 20.
Stephen even made a young Holly Willoughby float in thin air during a stunt back in 2005.
The identity of ‘X’ has been hotly debated ever since the masked magician dazzled the crowds on Britain’s Got Talent last Saturday.
Gobsmacked viewers couldn’t get their head around the stunt, which saw the “undeniable bond” between hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly tested.
Ant and Dec were also asked to draw something with their eyes closed
Not only had they drawn exactly the same doodle…
But when flipped around they spelt ‘1989’ – the year they first met

Telling them to close their eyes, he (or she) touched Ant’s arm and asked Dec to raise his hand if he felt someone touch him.
The audience gasped as Dec did raise his hand – and so did Ant when X did the same thing to his pal.
As it appeared that they could feel when the other got touched, Alesha Dixon squealed: “That sent chills through me.”
Later, the pair were asked to draw an image on a board, still with their eyes closed.
Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were left staggered
To a sharp intake of breath around the theatre, their drawings were revealed to be almost exactly the same.
What’s more, they both resembled the numbers ‘1989’ – the year they met – when flipped upside down.
The pair, both 43, reunited to present Britain’s Got Talent earlier this month after Ant was absent for the live shows last year following his long break from television.
