Boyzone's Keith Duffy is still in hospital with mystery illness in Thailand as band continue tour in Australia

KEITH Duffy is still recovering from his mystery illness in hospital in Thailand while Boyzone continue their tour in Australia.
The singer and ex-Corrie star, 44, collapsed and was taken to hospital before a gig in Thailand on Thursday.
Keith Duffy was on a downward spiral before his collapse, according to Ronan Keating
Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch admitted it was “bittersweet” to carry on as a three piece but revealed Keith is still receiving treatment in Bangkok.
Close sources told The Sun he has been drinking heavily and enjoying the trappings of fame in recent months — prompting pals to tell him to take it easy.
Keith had tweeted “#sorehead” and admitted partying hard before he fell ill in Bangkok.
Shane revealed that Keith is undergoing blood tests and they’re not sure what exactly is wrong with him.

“Unfortunately as you can see we are only three – our Keith Duffy is lost in Thailand,” Shane said in a video posted to Facebook before their show in Perth.
“He’s not well and we don’t know exactly what is happening with him at the moment, there are a lot of blood tests… he’s in the hospital right now, hopefully recovering, fingers crossed.”
Keith collapsed at Bangkok’s Thunder Dome arena — the latest stop on Boyzone’s Thank You And Goodnight farewell world tour.
Taking to Facebook after the show, the boys revealed they hope Keith will join them on the next stop on the tour in Adelaide.

“It was a bitter sweet experience for the guys as the crowd in Perth were incredible but they of course remain a man down,” the band’s post read.
“Keith has been in touch with the guys all day and is responding well to the hospital treatment he’s receiving in Bangkok.
“All being well, he’ll join the Boyz in Adelaide for the next stop on the tour.”

Sources at the venue said Keith suffered a “violent attack of diarrhoea and vomiting”.
He was not fit to perform and organisers delayed the band’s appearance for an hour.
A tweet from the band’s account said: “Keith was taken ill before the gig here in Bangkok this evening and has been admitted to hospital on the advice of the local medical team.

In recent years, Keith has toured the UK with former Westlife star Brian McFadden as BoyzLife — performing classic hits from the two groups.
Fans complained that the pair were unprofessional — turning up to gigs late and appearing to be drunk.
The unruly behaviour and hard partying led to several gigs being cancelled.
