Boy, 4, dies after picture frame falls off wall and shards of glass IMPALE him

A LITTLE boy was tragically killed after he was impaled by shards of glass after a picture fell off a wall in his home.
Adrian Ortega, 4, died after a picture frame fell from the wall on Wednesday at around 3.45pm spraying the room with glass and piercing the toddler in the abdomen.
ABC Adrian Ortega was pronounced dead just minutes after arriving at hospital
The kid was playing with his two sisters, aged two and five, when the frame fell.
So far it has not been determined why the picture dropped.
Adrian’s mum, Amanda Velez, was at home in North Philadelphia at the time.
Philadelphia police Chief Inspector Scott Small said: “He received a puncture or cut to his abdomen and that’s when family members transported him to St. Christopher’s Hospital.”
The child was later pronounced dead just minutes after he arrived at the hospital, officials said.
Ms Velez told 6abc: “My baby he was so full of joy. His sisters miss him.
“I carried my son. I birthed him. I was with him.”
She added: “When I went to lay him down his eyes started rolling behind his head.”
An autopsy is due to be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
