A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Birmingham last night.
West Midlands Police have now launched a murder investigation after being called to the Herbert Road, Small Heath, at around 8pm.
The teenager was found critically injured having suffered stab wounds.

A cordon has since been put in place while enquiries are carried out in the area, a police spokesperson said.
Detective Chief Inspector Edward Foster, from the West Midlands Police homicide team, is now calling on any witnesses to come forward.

‘A teenager has sadly lost his life and another was assaulted, we are working hard to establish the circumstances around what happened.’
The incident is the second fatal stabbing in a week, after Mohammed Sidali, also 16, was attacked last Wednesday.
Police have charged another 16-year-old boy with murder in connection to his death.
