IF you’re after some retro treats this summer, you might want to check out the Drumstick, Refresher and Fruity Pops ice lollies on sale at B&M, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.
But before you tuck in be warned that some shoppers claim they’re gross, so you do so at your own risk.
B&M The lollies is available in B&M stores nationwide
Each pack, which includes five lollies, sets you back £1 at all three retailers.
The 56ml treats come in the flavours of blackcurrant, strawberry and cherry and apple – and they contain just 34 calories each.
An adult man should have around 2,500 calories a day while it’s 2,000 for a woman, according to NHS guidelines.
The sweet treats were spotted by Facebook group Money Saver Online but the post has really divided shoppers.
One user, who tagged her friend, said: “We need a trip ASAP”, while another wrote: “Are you interested because I’m very interested.”
The post also attracted comments from users who claim the ice lollies aren’t worth your money.
One user simply stated: “They are horrid save your money. I was so excited but they’re a horrid bittie texture like jelly with salt in.”
Another wrote: “These are minging, very gloopy”, while someone else said: “I bought these last year and was so looking forward to them bu they are absolutely rotten.
“Don’t do it. Even the dog did not eat them.”
If you don’t care about other people’s opinions and want to try the treats anyway, simply pop down to your nearest B&M, Morrisons or Sainsbury’s store.
Tesco is also selling the treats but for a higher price tag at £1.50.
Swizzels, which makes the ice lollies, declined to comment when contacted by The Sun. The treats launched last year.
