LOVERS of gin and cake can rejoice at the news of another flavoured-gin launch, this time a battenberg cake gin liquer available at B&M.
The discount store is selling the cake-flavoured gin for £9.99 for a 50cl bottle.

The gin is coloured pink and flavoured with “notes of marzipan and vanilla” much like the beloved pink and white cake.
Gin fans can drink the spirit as it is, mix it with tonic water, or even add it to a glass of prosecco for a cake-flavoured cocktail.
The Battenberg cake gin is made by the brand Brambles and it’s only available in B&M stores.
It contains an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 20 per cent.

Last year the discount shop started selling two other cake-flavoured gins – one lemon drizzle cake and another Bakewell tart-flavoured gin.
They are all made by the brand Mrs Cuthbert’s and come in different colours to match the flavours, a pink for the cherry booze and a yellow for the lemon flavour.
B&M is the only shop selling gin in battenberg cake flavour, but some other retailers have their own cake-flavoured gins too.
Luxury gin brand Sipsmith, for example, has a clear, lemon drizzle-flavoured gin which is priced at £25 for 500ml.
There has been a huge rise in gin sales recently, and drinkers spent £461million on it last year, a rise of 32.5 per cent compared to the previous year, according to the Office for National Statistics.
Gin lovers are now spoilt for choice when it comes to flavoured gins.
