A DAD was locked out of his iPad for 48 YEARS after his three-year-old son typed in the wrong password.
US journalist Evan Osnos was forced to beg Twitter users for help after being told the device would unlock in 25,536,442 minutes.

Sharing a photo of the bizarre lock screen message, he wrote: “Uh, this looks fake but, alas, it’s our iPad today after 3-year-old tried (repeatedly) to unlock. Ideas?”
One Twitter user reached out to a friend who worked for Apple – who told him the device would NEVER work again.
The friend replied: “Nothing they can do – they will never be able to use it again.
They can try to hook it up to a computer with iTunes and put it in Device Firmware Update mode and wipe it but I doubt that would work.

Another joked: “Did the 3yr old get his hands on the iPad just as the 12,000,000 minutes from the previous lock expired?”
A third added: “Just try 6 or 7 more times and then the timer should over flow and let you in!
“The process should only take between 6,000 and 12,000 years depending on how the data is stored!”
