SHOPPERS can have a magical time with McVitie’s new unicorn-inspired cake bars that are now being sold in Asda and Morrisons.
The two supermarkets have stocked up on the “Unicorn rainbow crystal cake bars” and it’s made our day.
1 Asda and Morrisons are selling unicorn cake bars from McVities for £1
The sweet treats sees McVities’ classic sponge, cream and chocolate mix combined with a sprinkling of crunchy coloured crystals inside the cream for good measure.
They cost £1 for a box of five but the snack bars are limited edition so you don’t have forever to get your hands on this magical treat.
You can only get them in stores for now, so find your nearest using Asda and Morrisons’ store locator tools.
But before you scoff the lot bear in mind that each 24g cake bar includes 114 calories – an adult man should have 2,500 a day while it’s 2,000 for a woman.
McVities appears to love mixing its baked goods with unicorn themes as earlier this year it launched Unicorn Gems as an alternative to Ice Gems.
Rival Mr Kipling meanwhile, has Unicorn Slices, which you can get in Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s – although they’re cheapest at Asda where they cost £1.
In fact, Asda is really winning on the unicorn snack front, having brought out unicorn crumpets and unicorn cereal hoops last month.
