The “Sainsbury’s Home Roarsome Exploresome Large Dino Light” was first spotted by a shopper in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group on Facebook, who put up a video of the roarsome product.
Turn it on and the light changes from blue to purple, pink, red, white, yellow and then finally, green.
The post in the group quickly got people talking and has so far achieved more than 900 comments.
One user said: “I’ve got this, it’s amazing for my dino mad son.”

While another said: “I got mine from Sunderland, my son loves it.”
If you’re keen to get your hands on the lights, you’ll need to be quick though as Argos is quickly selling out of stock, although there’s still availability in some stores.
If you miss out, you’ll be pleased to know that you can order the lights for £3 from Argos’ shop on eBay through its click and collect service only.
The service is free to use, compared to Argos’ home delivery fees which start from £3.95.
The light comes in the size of 14cm x 12cm x 20cm, and it requires three AAA batteries.
The price at Argos is the cheapest we’ve found of lamps of a similar kind, but you can also pick up colour-changing dinosaur lights elsewhere.
Menkind.co.uk, for example, is selling a light in the size of 12cm x 13cm x 8cm for £3.50, while the same light costs £9.99 on Very.co.uk.
Or for a slightly pricier £4.99, you can get a 3D dinosaur light on eBay.
