Apex Legends Battle Pass revealed as Season 1: Wild Frontier kicks off

APEX Legends has finally launched its first season.
Wild Frontier will start tomorrow and last until some time in June, and provide free updates for all players.
Free skins for (l-r) Lifeline, Wraith and Mirage await you as soon as you buy the new Battle Pass
New intros, weapon skins and more await at the top tiers
EA hasn’t revealed much about the season itself, except that it will provide themed loot drops for everyone, and bring a new hero called Octane.
Taking part will be free, and everyone will get the opportunity to earn 1 Wild Frontier Legend skin, 5 Apex Packs and 18 Wild Frontier stat trackers.
During the course of the season you can expect new weapons and new loot to start appearing in the game, presumably fitting with the Wild Frontier theme.
The Battle Pass for the season will cost you just under £7.99  — it costs 950 Apex Coins in-game, and 1,000 will set you back £7.99.

The Battle pass features over 100 rewards to be claimed as players level up.
These look to include new looks for player’s weapons, new stat trackers to show off their skills , new intro quips for existing legends as well as Apex Packs.

Apex packs include some already-existing skins, quips and the like, with the content sure to be updated as the season goes on.
Apex Legends has lost some ground back to Fortnite on the Twitch viewing charts since the launch of Season 8 for Epic’s Battle Royale juggernaut, and EA and Respawn will be hoping that the sudden launch of season 1 will help claw some of that back.
Apex Legends hit the 50 million player mark two weeks ago, hitting that four times faster than Fortnite.
No updates have been issued on the game’s player count since then, though.
