An Aperol Spritz splash pool is coming to London soon

Fancy a dip in the Aperol pool? (Picture: drinksupermarket, Getty)Love it or loathe it, it’s hard to ignore the influence that the Aperol Spritz cocktail has during summer.
As the warmer weather rolls in, more and more people reach for the orange-tinged beverage.
While most of us are accustomed to drinking our cocktails in pub and beer gardens, Aperol likes to mix things up. Last year, the brand created a custom-made canal for people to paddle around in.
This year, it’s Aperol’s 100th anniversary and celebrations are set to be even more extravagant.
Welcome the Aperol 1919 Lido, a pop-up event that features a lido, flowing orange waterfall and Fiat 500 hot tubs. Guests will also get a chance to lounge on orange slice floats.
Those who don’t fancy getting wet can grab a seat on the revolving carousel bar or hang out by the glass-shaped ball pit instead.

Some dates are already sold out, including the launch night, so if Aperol Spritz is your go-to summer theme, you better hurry.
Tickets start from £10, which includes two drinks and some Italian aperitivo.
Bring a mate and save a few quid, with bundles sold at £18 for two or alternatively £34 for four.
The Aperol Spritz lido will also make an appearance in Manchester, with details to be revealed soon.

If you’re not a fan of the drink, then you can always host your own party in the back garden.
Buy a cheap inflatable pool, stock up on one of these equally summery drinks and ask a mate to pour water over you (to simulate the waterfall).
Both ideas sound pretty great to us, really.
