Alexander Wang is selling a gold condom keyring for £185

(Picture: Alexander Wang/Metro.co.uk)If you’ve got money left over from buying those £615 Gucci trainers that look like they’ve run through the mud, why not treat yourself to an Alexander Wang condom keychain for £185?
That’s right, £185 for a keyring.
Imagine being that fancy, rather than loading up your keys with those coins for supermarket trolleys and a little Lego man.
The Alexander Wang keychain is not, sadly, solid gold, but ‘gold-tone metal’ in the design of a condom in its wrapper.
On the front are the words ‘no after party’.
What does this mean? We truly have no clue, beyond Wang telling us that he’s not planning a rager. But it looks cool, and that’s all that matters.
People have been a tad puzzled by the design… and its price.
Matt Jones posted a photo of the keychain on Facebook, writing: ‘Because who doesn’t need a gold condom keyring?’

(Picture: Alexander Wang / ssense)We must also note that the keychain does not contain an actual condom inside, so you’d still need to invest in protection.
But if you’re keen to stick to a theme, Alexander Wang has previously created actual condoms.
Last summer he designed a collection with Trojan condoms, creating wrappers that said ‘Protect Your Wang’.

The Wang condoms were handed out with every purchase from the label, and at a Pride event Alexander threw them out for free to crowds.
Hey, we’re big fans of a fashion brand promoting safe sex, especially if it’s a play on the word ‘wang’.
If you’re keen to jump on the trend but don’t have a spare £185, you could always grab an actual condom in its wrapper, spray-paint it gold, then attach it to your keys. Easy.
