The Sun Aldi’s Dairyfine chocolate bunny is dropping in price to 49p for Easter –
Aldi’s 100g Dairyfine bunny looks a lot like the famous Lindt chocolate bunny with one key difference: it’s in blue packaging, not gold.
The milk chocolate treat used to be 79p so it was always cheaper than its famous rival.
But Aldi has slashed the price to 49p from today as its first “Easter 6” promotion.
As part of the campaign, the supermarket will reduce the price of a different Easter-themed product every week for the next six weeks until Easter Sunday, which is on April 21 this year.

Aldi says the chocolate bunny is an “ideal Easter treat for children”.
It’s only available in stores, not online, so you’ll need to head to your nearest branch if you want one.
We’ve asked Aldi when the deal ends and we will update this article if we hear back.
Lindt’s 100g chocolate bunny can cost up to £2.99 at some supermarkets.
The cheapest you can buy one for is £2.50 from Tesco.
Tesco also has a copycat Lindt chocolate bunny.
But its version is more expensive than Aldi’s at 89p for 100g.
We’ve asked Aldi to reveal how many calories its copycat bunny contains.
But it’s probably a similar amount to Lindt’s, which has 550 calories.
An adult man is supposed to have around 2,500 calories a day, while it’s 2,000 for a woman, according to NHS guidelines.

Aldi is well known for its copycat products. It also recently started selling lookalike versions of Celebrations called Legends.
The supermarket is also selling lookalike Oreo, Creme Egg, Kinder Bueno and Cadbury Caramel mini eggs for £2.
