Aldi now sells MOJITO flavoured sausages

ALDI is bringing a whole new meaning to “cocktail sausages” with it’s Mojito flavoured bangers.
The pork sausages are made with smoked bacon, white rum, mint, red chilli and lime zest.
1 The alcoholic sausages are available to buy in stores from July 4
As temperatures across Britain are expected to rise to 30C in the coming weeks, the boozy bangers are perfect for the BBQ.
We’ve asked Aldi how much alcohol is the sausages, although there is no legal age limit when it comes to buying food that’s made with booze.
The last time the budget retailer stocked alcoholic bangers made with beer and cider, they contained 3.5 ABV, which is a lot compared to Gordon’s gin ice-pops which only contain 0.5 per cent alcohol.
The sausages comes in packs of six and cost £1.89 each – the same as a standard pack from Aldi.
Here’s how to cut the cost of your grocery shopSAVING on your shop can make a big difference to your wallet. Here are some tips from Hannah Maundrell, editor of, about how you can cut the cost of your shopping bills:

Write yourself a list – Only buy items that you need. If it isn’t on your list, don’t put it in the trolley
Create a budget – Work out a weekly budget for your food shopping
Never shop hungry – you are far more likely to buy  more food if your tummy is rumbling
Don’t buy pre-chopped veggies or fruit – The extra they’ll charge for chopping can be eye watering
Use social media – follow your favourite retailers to find out about the latest deals
Be disloyal – You may want to go to different stores to find the best bargains
Check the small print –  It’s always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so you’re making a like for like decision as a bigger box won’t necessarily mean you get more
Use your loyalty cards – Don’t be afraid to sign up to them all. They all work slightly differently – work out what bonus suits you better and remember to trade in your points for additional rewards

They weigh the same too so you won’t be out of pocket if you decide to swap your regular banger with the cocktail flavoured ones.
We’ve had a look around and couldn’t find anywhere else selling these types of bangers.
The next cheapest boozy banger we found on the high street is the posh Powters Scrumpy Pig cider and sage sausages but they cost £1.20 more from Waitrose.
Of course, you can save money by ditching the alcohol infused-alternative altogether – a pack of 12 pork sausages costs £1.09 at Tesco saving you almost 23p per banger.
Much like last time, these bangers are only around for a limited time as they’re being launched as Specialbuys.
You’ll be able to get them in stores – not online – from Thursday July 4 while stocks last.
