Manchester United & Spurs to chase Memphis Depay

Tottenham and Manchester United are leading the chase for PSV Eindhoven’s flying Dutchman Memphis Depay.

Both have watched the £15million-rated 20-year-old winger, who became
Holland’s youngest ever scorer in World Cup finals when he struck
against Australia in Brazil.

Spurs tried to sign Depay in the last transfer window and want him to replace Aaron Lennon.

They are open to offers for their 27-year-old former England winger.
Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal knows all about Depay’s potential after
trusting him in his Dutch side last summer.

Van Gaal believes Depay would add the speed and vitality United
lacked in Friday’s uninspiring goalless draw against League Two
Cambridge in the FA Cup. The manager has been unimpressed with Adnan
Januzaj, who was given a rare start at the Abbey Stadium.

It’s believed Van Gaal would be open to loan offers for the winger,
who was lauded as one of Europe’s brightest young things this time last

Depay would love to prove himself in the Premier League but PSV are
reluctant to part with him this month as they fight to be crowned Dutch
