Queensland police have arrested a woman for
the alleged murder of two children and the alleged attempted murder of
two more children.

A woman has been arrested over the alleged murder of two young
children and the alleged attempted murder of another two boys from the
same family in southeast Queensland.
Police are currently
questioning the 58-year-old Caboolture woman in relation to the death of
a three-year-old on July 27, 2013 and the death of a seven-month-old
baby on September 27, 2014 at a Morayfield House, north of Brisbane.
The
woman is also being questioned over a fire at the house in February, in
which two boys, aged nine and 11, are alleged to have been deliberately
trapped. The boys managed to escape the fire, but one suffered burns to
his lower limbs.
No charges have been laid at this point. Police would not confirm whether the woman is a relative.
